FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />q'hc Ramsey Fire Department conducted the monthly officers meeting on Sunday, July 9, 2000, <br />at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />OFFICERS PRESENT: <br /> <br />ChiefKapler <br />Officer Simpson <br />Officer Sharp <br />Officer McLaughlin <br />Officer Weiss <br />Officer Lemm <br /> <br />CAI,I~ TO ORDER <br /> <br />('.hieF Kapler called the officers meeting of the Ramsey Fire Department to order at 6:15 p.m. <br /> <br />The next officer's meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, August 1, 2000. <br /> <br />l)uty officers for July are Assistant ChiefHoxter and Officer Weiss. <br /> <br />SAFETY CONCERNS <br /> <br />The Department will continue to get updates on road closures throughout the city. It is <br />possible thc area of County Road #5 and Highway #47 will be closed for a two-week period. <br />Thc Department will be notified at least 24 hours before. County Road #83 (Baugh Street) <br />will be under construction, but remained opened. <br /> <br />Thc vehicles' gas tanks should be left ~A full at all times. <br /> <br />· It is important for the Department to remember safety basics at incident scenes. <br /> <br />· Fircfighters should not respond directly to incident scenes, but first get their gear and <br /> equipment from the station. <br /> <br />· More tarps and miscellaneous supplies are needed. <br /> <br />ENGINE #2 UPDATE <br /> <br />· Thc low voltage alarm on Engine #2 will need repair, however, Officer Simpson has to re- <br /> test the meter and document the results. <br /> <br /> <br />
