FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Fire Department conducted a regular meeting on Wednesday, September 13, 2000, <br />at thc Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />(;hie/' Kapler called the regular meeting of the Ramsey Fire Department to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />There were fourteen fire fighters in attendance. There were no additions to the agenda. <br /> <br />MONTltLY REPORTS <br /> <br />7'RAINING <br /> <br />Assistant Chief Hoxter reviewed the Training Report. <br /> <br />August training included hose testing, a medical on heat and cold emergencies, major <br />maintenance and a landfill tour. During the hose testing some bad hose was found and <br />fircfighters gave good responses on the landfill tour, they now know what is there. <br /> <br />September training includes a medical Hazmat Right to Know and a pump class. <br /> <br />MA./OR MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />Officer Simpson reviewed the Major Maintenance Report. <br /> <br />· I loses for the hose reel have been installed on Old Engine #2. It is ready for sale. There will <br /> bca date set to clean the engine and make a video of the truck, showing such things as under <br /> thc hood and opening compartment doors. This video could then be sent to interested <br /> departments out of the area. <br /> <br />· Officer Simpson will check the hoses on Engine #2 to make sure they are rated 300 psi. One <br /> hose was replaced that was only 250 psi. <br /> <br />· Thc brakes on Tanker #1 were repaired again. <br /> <br />· Thc foam flow meter was repaired on Engine #1. <br /> <br />· Grass Rig #2 has a new battery. <br /> <br /> <br />
