ORDINANCE#22-05 <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 117 WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE ZONING SECTION <br /> OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY,MINNESOTA. <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 117-111 (R-1 RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT), <br /> 117-349 (ACCESSORY USES AND BUILDINGS), AND 117-355 (RESIDENTIAL OFF- <br /> STREET PARKING) OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY,MINNESOTA. <br /> The City of Ramsey ordains: <br /> SECTION 1. AUTHORITY <br /> This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the City Charter of the City of <br /> Ramsey. <br /> SECTION 2. AMENDMENTS <br /> Section 117-1. —Definitions shall be amended to read as follows: <br /> Driveway means an onsite prepared surface traffic lane, which shall be the traffic lane <br /> leading directly from a public street to the primary garage on the subject parcel;the <br /> width of which cannot exceed the primary garage width by more than 15 feet. or in the <br /> absence of a garage, a traffic lane to a parking pad that cannot exceed 20 feet in width. <br /> Driveway parking may not extend beyond the front of the primary garage without <br /> meeting the performance standards for side or r-ar yard parking. (Cannot exceed <br /> maximum width at roadway under zoning district bulk standards). <br /> Section 117-111 shall be amended to read as follows: <br /> (d)R-1 bulk standards. <br /> 2A zoning permit is required to install any driveway that is not associated with work <br /> requiring a building permit. Driveways and parking pads are an allowed accessory use in <br /> any R-1 Residential District and require a zoning permit. <br /> (g) General R-1 residential performance standards <br /> (4)Driveways <br />
