Councilmember Musgrove introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION#22-011 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANOKA RAMSEY ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION <br /> APPLICATION FOR A PREMISE PERMIT FOR LAWFUL GAMBLING AT WILLY <br /> MCCOY'S IN RAMSEY <br /> WHEREAS, The Anoka Ramsey Athletic Association has applied for a premise <br /> permit for gambling at Willy McCoy's 6415 Highway 10 NW, Ramsey. <br /> WHEREAS, The Anoka Ramsey Athletic Association has requested Council waive <br /> the 60-day notice provision; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming <br /> requires the City of Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the <br /> application. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the premise permit application for the <br /> Anoka Ramsey Athletic Association to operate lawful gambling at Willy McCoy's <br /> 6415 Highway 10 NW, Ramsey. <br /> 2) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator or Finance <br /> Director to sign the application and any other documents required by the Minnesota <br /> Gambling Board. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> Woestehoff,and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> Mayor Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Woestehoff <br /> Councilmember Heineman <br /> Councilmember Howell <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> None <br /> and the following abstained: <br /> None <br />
