The City Administrator is the chief administrative officer of the City and is responsible for all aspects of the City's organizational health and effectiveness. This position is responsible for the daily administration and coordination of all City affairs in accordance with the City Charter, City Code, ordinances, resolutions and directives from City Council. Responsibilities include all aspects of parks maintenance, construction of new facilities and the operation of equipment while working in a variety of weather conditions. Also involved in snow plowing of public streets, trails and walks. All candidates must have a commercial driver's license (Class A or B) with both air brake and tanker endorsement are required. Salary range $24.39/hour. This position closes at 11:59 pm on Sunday, April 17, 2022. • Zoning Code Enforcement Officer. Performs code enforcement inspections and follow- up on zoning and public nuisance related activities. Primary service goals include providing cost-effective means of enforcing City Code as it relates to violations of the City's nuisance and zoning ordinances. Salary range: $30.15 to $33.17/hourly depending on qualifications. This position closes at 11:59 pm on Sunday, April 24, 2022. The City of Ramsey is also hiring for the following Temporary Summer Staff and Internships: • Engineering Interns. Seeking two (2) individuals to provide assistance to our Engineering staff for summer construction projects. These are temporary internships working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Salary is $15.00 to $18.00/hour depending on qualifications. Seeking one (1) individual to assist our Parks staff with general maintenance of City -owned parks and trail systems. This is a temporary full-time AFSCME union position last up to 7-months. Responsibilities include all aspects of parks maintenance, construction of new facilities and the operation of equipment while working in a variety of weather conditions. This individual also assists staff with several City events. All candidates must be at least 18 years old or older and possess a valid MN commercial driver's license (Class A or B) with both air brake & tanker
