PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Park and Recreation Commission conducted a regular meeting on July 12, 2001, at <br />Rabbit Park, 17450 Rabbit Street NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Commission Members Present: <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Chairperson Todd Cook <br />Commissioner Jill Johns <br />Commissioner Tom LaMere <br />Commissioner Michael Rolfe <br /> <br />Commissioner Jon Olds <br />Commissioner Steve Ostrum <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Mark Boos <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Cook called the regular Park and Recreation Commission meeting to order at 6:00 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Johns, seconded by Commissioner LaMere, to approve the Park and <br />Recreation Commission meeting agenda for the meeting dated July 12, 2001 as presented. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Cook, Commissioners Johns, LaMere, and Rolfe. <br />Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Olds and Ostrum. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Recommend Park Dedication for Centex Addition <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos explained that at the May meeting, the Park and Recreation <br />Commission reviewed the Centex subdivision sketch plan and set forth a number of objectives. <br />He reviewed the requested modifications that had been made to the plat and noted the 35-foot <br />trail corridor extension. Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos advised that there was a 1% change in <br />the Park Dedication Fee since the sketch plan.
