ORDINANCE #22-20 <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> AN AMENDMENT TO SECTION 117 WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE ZONING SECTION <br /> OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY,MINNESOTA. <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 117-1 (DEFINITIONS)AND SECTION 117-519 <br /> (BUSINESS TYPE DISTRICTS) OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA. <br /> The City of Ramsey ordains: <br /> SECTION 1. AUTHORITY <br /> This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the City Charter of the City of <br /> Ramsey. <br /> SECTION 2. AMENDMENT TO CITY CODE SECTION 117-1 <br /> The current City Code Section 117-1 is revised as follows (additions indicated by underline, <br /> deletions indicated by strikethrough): <br /> Sec. 117-1. —Definitions. <br /> Armstrong zzoul var a 't r,hang Highway 10 Signage Overlay District means a district for <br /> purposes of allowing additional signage in a specified area due to limited visibility created by <br /> overpasses on Highway 10, described as all commercially zoned property located within 750 feet <br /> of the Centerline of Highway 10 and extending to the Centerline of Traprock Street and <br /> extending between the eastern border of the City of Ramsey and to the Centerline of Llama <br /> Street. Parcels located within The COR Zoning District are exempted excluded from this overlay <br /> district, as sign regulations for that district are located in a separate section of City Code. <br /> SECTION 3. AMENDMENT TO CITY CODE SECTION 117-519(c) <br /> The current City Code Section 117-519(c) is revised as follows (additions indicated by underline, <br /> deletions indicated by strikethrough): <br /> Sec 115-519(c)—Business type districts. <br /> Permitted freestanding signs under previous section 117-519(a) (business use signs), and located <br /> within the Armstrong Boulevard Interchange Highway 10 Signage Overlay District as defined by <br /> this section and not further regulated by the Mississippi River Corridor Critical Area Overlay <br /> District, shall be allowed to a height of not more than 75 feet and an area of not greater than <br /> 150 square feet (for a single-user sign) or 300 square feet (for a multi-user sign).
