CHARTER COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Charter Commission conducted a regular meeting on Thursday, July 6, 2000, in the <br />Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Commissioner <br />Commissioner <br />Commissioner <br />Commissioner <br />Commissioner <br /> <br />Barry Childs <br />Marguerite Henke <br />Keith Kiefer <br />Kathy Rosenow <br />Timothy Vogt <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Commissioner <br />Commissioner <br />Commissioner <br />Commissioner <br /> <br />Dennis Donovan <br />Hannah LaMere <br />Richard Netzloff <br />Virginia Spain-Brist <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Assistant City Administrator Kim Moore-Sykes <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Deputy City Clerk Jo Thieling <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich delivered the Oath of Office to newly appointed members Barry Childs, <br />Marguerite Henke and Kathy Rosenow. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Staff called the meeting to order at 5:38 p.m. as there was no appointed chair for this first <br />meeting of the year. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich briefed the new members on what the Charter is and what it is able to <br />do. He also summarized some of the actions taken in the recent years and explained what <br />changes came about. <br /> <br />APPROVE MINUTES <br /> <br />Approval of minutes for the September 23, 1999 meeting was tabled because Commissioners <br />Kiefer and Vogt were the only two present who were at that meeting.
