FINANCE COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Finance Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday November 28, 2000, <br />at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Susan E. Anderson <br />Councilmember Margaret Connolly <br />Councilmember TelTy Hendricksen <br />· Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Kim Moore-Sykes <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Police Chief David Gustafson <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Mark Boos <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the Finance Committee to order at 5:00 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION ITEM <br /> <br />1) 2001 Proposed General Fund Budget <br /> <br />Finance Officer Lund reviewed the proposed 2001 General Fund budget. <br /> <br />Assistant City Administrator Moore-Sykes explained that staff met with AFSCME and submitted <br />a proposal for salary compensation based on the Council discussion that had taken place during <br />the fall. <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman explained that in the past the City has provided a cost of living raise <br />at the beginning of the year and what staff has proposed to AFSCME is that increase be given on <br />an employees hired anniversary date.
