<br />Councilmember Woestehoff introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #23-018 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT AND SALE OF MULTIPLE <br />RALF PARCELS FOR THE RAMSEY GATEWAY PROJECT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey, herein referred to as the “City,” acquired various parcels <br />acquired utilizing the Right of Way Acquisition Loan Fund (RALF) for the purposes relating to <br />construction of future Hwy 10 improvements the City of Ramsey; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey Gateway Highway 10 improvement project is fully funded and <br />ROW acquisition related to the future improvements has commenced by the County of Anoka, <br />acting as the highway authority; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City and the County of Anoka have negotiated a Settlement Agreement <br />for the sale of the parcels legally described on Exhibit A (“the Property”); for ROW and <br />Easements for the Ramsey Gateway Hwy 10 Project and the City Attorney has approved the <br />document as to form; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the sales price for each parcel is defined below in the Proposed Repayment <br />column and the city proceeds will go to pay off the partial balances of RALF Loans L08-01, L07- <br />05, L04-04, L05-03 and L06-02 <br /> <br />RALF Loan Value Proposed Property Repayment % <br />Loan Repayment Purchase % <br />L0801* $1,260,686.00 $56,852.18 4.5 4.5 <br />L0705 $551,934.00 $28,796.96 5.2 5.2 <br />L0404 $372,647.00 $22,023.12 5.9 5.9 <br />L0503 $263,334.00 $27,749.00 10.5 10.5 <br />L0602 $384,868.00 $100,940.01 13.1 13.1 <br />sum $2,833,469.00 $236,361.27 <br />; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City herby declares the Property to be surplus City-owned land and is no <br />longer needed for current or future City functions, and authorizes the property to be sold; and <br /> <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City hereby declares the Property to be surplus City-owned land, and authorizes <br />the Property to be sold for Hwy 10 ROW/Easement purposes. <br /> <br /> <br />
