CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a Work Session on Tuesday, January 24, 2006, at the <br />Ramsey Fire Station Number 1, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br /> <br />Members Absent: Councilmember David Jeffrey <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Assistant Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Mark Riverblood <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the City Council Work Session to order at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVEAGENDA <br /> <br />The agenda was approved as submitted. <br /> <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />1) Marketing & Management of Highway #10 Properties <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman reviewed that during the Council meeting of January 10, 2006, the <br />City Council discussed a lease arrangement for properties purchased to the Right of Way <br />Acquisition Loan Fund (RALF). During the consideration of the agenda item, Councilmembers <br />requested a work session topic be added for a more general discussion of the marketing and <br />management of the acquired properties through RALF. Marty Fischer with Premier Commercial <br />Properties, Inc. is present to answer questions of the Council. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich indicated Mr. Sharp is also present to discuss the lease on the former <br />NAU building with the Council. Councilmembers had requested a triple net lease and the City is <br />trying to put a uniform lease system in place; however, Mr. Sharp has concerns with this type of <br />lease. <br /> <br />City Council Work Session / January 24, 2006 <br /> Page 1 of 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
