The primary objective of this position is to perform <br />responsible police work involving the protection and safety of the community through <br />prevention and control of crime, maintaining or restoring public order, investigating <br />crime, regulating traffic, enforcing laws and providing emergency services, as well as <br />other related duties as required. This is a full-time LELS-Patrol union position. The 2023 <br />hiring wage is $32.460 per hour. Application deadline is open until filled Apply <br />immediately if interested <br />The City of Ramsey is also hiring the following Temporary Seasonal Staff: <br />• Seasonal Maintenance Workers (11 Openings). The primary objective of this position <br />is to provide general maintenance of streets, park grounds, trails, buildings and related <br />facilities and equipment through the spring, summer and possibly fall months. This also <br />includes mowing and trimming; pruning and planting trees or working on landscape <br />projects; maintaining athletic fields; picking up trash; street and utility maintenance. <br />These temporary non -union positions work up to forty (40) hours per week, Monday <br />through Friday, from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. Must be at least 17 years of age or older by <br />June 1 and have a valid Minnesota driver's license. The 2023 hiring wage is $13.00 to <br />$15.00 per hour, depending on qualifications.
