PERSONNEL COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Personnel Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at the Ramsey <br />Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Members Present: <br />Chairperson David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember John Dehen <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec (alternate) <br />Member Absent: Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br />Also Present: Human Resources Manager Givonna Reed Kone <br />City Administrator Kurt Ulrich <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi A. Nelson <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairperson Jeffrey called the regular meeting of the Personnel Committee to order at 5:37 p.m. <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br />There was none. <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec, seconded by Chairperson Jeffrey, to approve the agenda as submitted. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Jeffrey, Councilmembers Dehen and Mayor Gamec. <br />Voting No: None. <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br />Case #1: Consider Ending Probationary Period for the Assistant City Engineer <br />Human Resources Manager Reed Kone stated that Assistant City Engineer Himmer has <br />successfully completed his required probationary period and Public Works Director Olson <br />recommends retaining him as a full-time employee. <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec, seconded by Councilmember Dehen, to recommend that the City <br />Council adopt a resolution ending the probationary period for Tim Himmer and grant status as a <br />full-time regular Assistant City Engineer, effective April 1, 2008. <br />Personnel Committee / April 8, 2008 <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />
