Weekly UPDATE <br />Administrator's Report May 12, 2023 <br />Council Update <br />We're Hiring! <br />The City of Ramsey is hiring for the following positions: <br />. Administrative Assistant Public Works <br />This position's primary objective is to perform various <br />responsible administrative support functions within the <br />Public Works Department. The work requires excellent <br />customer service and phone communications skills, general <br />knowledge of Microsoft applications, and a variety of office <br />procedures. This is a full-time AFSCME union position. <br />The 2023 hiring range is $23.96 to $29.95 per hour. The <br />application deadline is Wednesday, May 17, 2023. <br />. City Planner <br />The primary objective of this position is to perform various <br />professional tasks related to municipal planning, including <br />current and long-range planning, implementation of the <br />City of Ramsey Comprehensive Plan, and administration of <br />zoning and subdivision regulations. This is a full-time, non- <br />union, non -supervisory exempt level position. The 2023 <br />hiring range is $38.096 to $47.620 per hour. The <br />application deadline is Monday, May 29, 2023. <br />• Police Officer (2 openings) <br />The primary objective of this position is to perform <br />responsible police work involving the protection and safety <br />of the community through prevention and control of crime, <br />maintaining or restoring public order, investigating crime, <br />regulating traffic, enforcing laws and providing emergency <br />services; as well as other related duties as required. This is a <br />full-time LELS-Patrol union position. The 2023 hiring wage <br />is $32.46 per hour. T e application deadline is open <br />until filled, apply immediately if interested. <br />• Seasonal Maintenance Workers (2 openings) <br />The primary objective of this position is to provide general <br />maintenance of streets, park grounds, trails, buildings, and <br />related facilities and equipment through the spring, summer <br />and possibly fall months. This also includes mowing and <br />trimming; pruning and planting trees or working on <br />landscape projects; maintaining athletic fields; picking up <br />trash; streets and utilities maintenance. These are temporary <br />non -union positions working up to forty (40) hours per <br />week Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. <br />Must be at least 17 years of age or older by June 1 and have <br />City of #1,< <br />RAMSEY <br />a valid Minnesota driver's license. The flags will be affixed to the light <br />poles on Sunwood Drive NW and can serve as a symbol to <br />honor the memory of a loved one or show civic pride. <br />There are two donation levels for individuals or businesses, <br />the Friends -of -the -Flag Level Sponsorship for $50 and Patriot <br />Level Sponsorship is $500.
