Weekly UPDATE <br />Administrator's Report May 26, 2023 <br />Council Update <br />We're Hiring! <br />The Gty of Ramsey is hiring for the following positions: <br />. City Planner <br />The primary objective of this position is to perform a variety <br />of professional tasks related to municipal planning, <br />including current and long-range planning, implementation <br />of the City of Ramsey Comprehensive Plan, and <br />administration of zoning and subdivision regulations. This <br />is a full-time, non -union, non -supervisory exempt level <br />position. The 2023 hiring range is $38.096 to $47.620 per <br />hour. The application deadline is Sunday, June 4, 2023. <br />. Police Officer (2 openings) <br />The primary objective of this position is to perform <br />responsible police work involving the protection and safety <br />of the community through prevention and control of crime, <br />maintaining or restoring public order, investigating crime, <br />regulating traffic, enforcing laws and providing emergency <br />services; as well as other related duties as required. This is a <br />full-time LELS-Patrol union position. The 2023 hiring wage <br />is $32.460 per hour. The application deadline is open <br />until filled, apply immediately if interested. <br />. Seasonal Maintenance Workers (2 openings) <br />The primary objective of this position is to provide general <br />maintenance of streets, park grounds, trails, buildings, and <br />related facilities and equipment through the spring, summer <br />and possibly fall months. This also includes mowing and <br />trimming; pruning and planting trees or working on <br />landscape projects; maintaining athletic fields; picking up <br />trash; streets and utilities maintenance. These ate temporary <br />non -union positions working up to forty (40) hours per <br />week Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. <br />Must be at least 17 years of age or older by June 1 and have a <br />valid Minnesota driver's license. The 2023 hiring wage is <br />$15.00 per hour. The <br />flags will be <br />affixed to the light <br />poles on Sunwood <br />Drive NW and <br />can serve as a <br />symbol to honor <br />the memory of a <br />loved one or show <br />civic pride. <br />There are two donation levels for individuals or businesses, <br />the Friends -of -the -Flag Level Sponsorship for $50 and Patriot <br />Level Sponsorship is $500.
