Weekly UPDATE <br />Administrator's Report <br />June 16, 2023 <br />Council Update <br />We're Hiring! <br />The City of Ramsey is hiring for the following positions: <br />• Seasonal Maintenance Workers (2 openings) <br />The primary objective of this position is to provide general <br />maintenance of streets, park grounds, trails, buildings, <br />and related facilities and equipment through the spring, <br />summer and possibly fall months. This also includes <br />mowing and trimming; pruning and planting trees or <br />working on landscape projects; maintaining athletic fields; <br />picking up trash; streets and utilities maintenance. These <br />are temporary non -union positions working up to forty <br />(40) hours per week Monday through Friday from 7:30 <br />am to 3:30 pm. Must be at least 17 years of age or older <br />on first day of employment and have a valid Minnesota <br />driver's license. The 2023 hiring wage is $15.00 per hour. <br />The application deadline is open until filled, apply <br />immediately if interested. <br />• Police Officer (2 openings) <br />The primary objective of this position is to perform <br />responsible police work involving the protection and <br />safety of the community through prevention and <br />control of crime, maintaining or restoring public order, <br />investigating crime, regulating traffic, enforcing laws and <br />providing emergency services; as well as other related <br />duties as required. This is a full-time LELS-Patrol union <br />position. This event features fantastic works for sale from <br />numerous artists, but there will also be food trucks, live music, <br />artist demos, free art classes, raffle drawings and more! Members of Ramsey's <br />Law Enforcement, City staff and local businesses will be <br />involved in helping run the torch through the County to <br />signify the start of the Games. For more information, please <br />contact Nick Dahlberg at ndahlberg@cityoframsey.com. <br />The Draw Summer Concert Series <br />Circle the dates on the calendar — The Draw Summer <br />Concert Series started on June 15, with a performance from <br />Roadhouse Blue.
