ORDINANCE #06-14 <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STA'IE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2 OF THE CITY CODE TITLED "COUNCIL, <br />BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS" AND CHAPTER 5 OF THE C1TY CODE TITLED <br />"MUNICIPAL REGULATIONS". <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. AMENDMENT <br /> <br />All references to the Horse Care Board are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />Section 2.03, Boards and Commissions, and Section 5.09.05 Horses <br /> <br />Section 2.03.06: Duties, Responsibilities and Objectives; and section 5.09.05: Horses <br /> <br />Section 2.03.06 Subdivision 5, Horse Care Board <br /> <br />Section 5.09.05, Subdivision 4b, Conditional Use Permit Required <br /> <br />"Conditional Use Permit Required" is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />An application for the CUP shall be initiated by the landowner where the horse(s) are to be <br />maintained by filing a form prescribed by the City. The procedure to be followed shall be as <br />prescribed in §9.03.04 of this Code. <br /> <br />Section 5.09.05, Subdivision 8b, Control, Trespass, Roadways and Impoundment <br /> <br />"Conlrol, Trespass, Roadways and Impoundment <br /> <br />"Control, Trespass, Roadways and Impoundment" is hereby amended as follows: <br /> <br />The Chief of Police or any designated agent of the City may impound any horse found at large <br />and shall provide proper sustenance for such impounded horse. The Chief of Police or <br />designated agent shall, within 24 hours after any such horse has been impounded, post written <br />notice at the City Hall describing such horse and stating that it has been impounded. If the <br />owner of the impounded horse is known to the person impounding, personal service of notice of <br />such impounding shall be served within 24 hours after impounding upon such owner in the <br />manner prescribed by State Law for the service or process. <br /> <br />Section 5.09.05, Subdivision 9, Horse Care Commission <br /> <br />"Horse Care Commission" is hereby repealed. <br /> <br /> <br />
