Councilman Cox introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 80-14 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF <br />REPORT <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA: <br />1) A certain petition requesting the improvement of: <br /> <br /> a) Barium Street N.W. lying between 153rd Avenue N.W. <br /> and 155th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />b) Argon Street N.W. lying between 153rd Avenue N.W. <br /> and 154th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />c) 154th Lane N.W. lying between Argon Street N.W. <br /> and Barium Street N.W. <br /> <br />Ail of the above streets are located in the: <br /> <br />Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of <br />Section 24, Township 32, Range 25. <br /> <br />filed with the Council on March 11, 1980 is hereby declared to be signed <br />by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This <br />declaration is made in conformity in~[ir~nesota Statutes, Section 429.035. <br /> <br /> 2) The petition is hereby referred to Consulting Engineers <br />Diversified~ Inc. and they are instructed to report to the Council with <br />all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether <br />the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made <br />as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated <br />cost of the improvement as recommended. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilman Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson and Sorteberg <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
