Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #81-4 <br /> <br />RLSOLUTION OF APPRECIATION FOR DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICES OF ROBERT <br />BECKENBACH <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, l~r. Robert Beckenbach served the Community for <br />twenty years as a volunteer fireman for the City of Anoka Fire Department; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr, Robert Beckenbach served the Community for <br />seventeen years as the Fire Chief for the City of Anoka Fire Department; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Comncil, City of Ramsey, Anoka Coomty, <br />State of Minnesota takes this time to commend Mr. Robert Beckenbach. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOtgt <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, asfollows: <br /> <br /> 1) The City Council of the City of Ramsey takes great <br />pleasure in co~nendingMr. Robert Beckenbach for his many years of public <br />service as volunteer fireman and as Fire Chief for the City of Anoka Fire <br />Department. The Council regrets the loss of such an outstanding public <br />servant to our community who gave his all to serve his fellow citizens. <br /> <br /> 2) Consequently, we want the family of this outstanding <br />citizen to know that our City of Ramsey will always be greatly appreciative <br />of his contribution in serving his community. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Reimarm and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor GAmec, Councilmembers Reimann, Van Wagner, Sorteberg <br />and Cox <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey <br />City Council 'this the 24th day of February, 1981. <br /> <br />ATT~EST: D // Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
