Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #81-7 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REGARDING ANOKA COUNTY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Anoka County Board of Commissioners submitted their <br />Comprehensive Plan to the City of Ramsey for comments to approve/disapprove/ <br />amend plan; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Anoka County Comprehensive Plan has been avail- <br />able at the Ramsey City Hall for City Council members to review. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMS~, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) The Ramsey City Council hereby gives their tacit approval <br />of the Anoka County Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br /> 2) The Ramsey City Council wants to go on record of stating <br />that it is difficult to give approval on a comprehensive plan that will <br />cover such a broad scope on future county development. Consequently, they <br />may unknowingly give approval to a document that could have adverse affects <br />on 'the City of Ramsey in the future. <br /> <br /> 3) The City of Ramsey requests that Anoka County review <br />their Five (5) Year Capital Improvement Program budget with all the cities <br />of the County annually before it is adopted. It also requests that con- <br />sideration be given to reviewing the annual operation budget with the <br />cities of the County. <br /> <br /> 4) The City of Ramsey requests that the proposed Rum River <br />bridge crossing be inserted into the County's Comprehensive Plan and that <br />it also be come a part of the Comaty's five (5) year Capital Improvement <br />Budget. <br /> <br /> 5) The City of Ramsey requests that the county insert the <br />City of Ramsey's proposed airport site in their Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br /> 6) The City of Ramsey requests that the County insert the <br />proposed Rum River multi-purpose recreation facility in their plan. <br /> <br /> 7) Further, the City Council of the City of Ramsey wants <br />to be kept informed on the action the County takes on the above requests <br />as these issues have all been discussed and agreed upon previously with <br />the County Board. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Van Wagner and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow- <br />ing voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Van Wagner, Reimanm <br />and Cox <br /> <br /> <br />
