Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #81-8 RESOLUTION REGARDING CITY OF ANOKA COMPREHENSIVE PLAN WHEREAS, the City of Anoka has furnished the City of Ramsey a copy of their Comprehensive Plan for the pmepose of reviewing and comment- ing on it; and WHEREAS, the Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission was directed to review and submit their recommendation to the City Council of the City of Ramsey in regards to findings and recommendations on the City of Anoka's Comprehensive Plan; and WHEREAS, the Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission submitted the following recommendation to the Ramsey City Council as follows: That the City Council of Anoka notify the City of Ramsey if any land is developed along our co,non corporate limits. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) The Ramsey City Council hereby approves of the Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission's recommendations regarding the Anoka Comprehensive Plan. 2) It, therefore, requests that the City Council of Anoka to have inserted into their Comprehensive Plan that the City of Ramsey will be notified of any development along our common corporate limits. Accord- ingly, -the City of Ramsey will have the same inserted into their Comprehen- sive Plan. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow- ing voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Van Wagner, Reimann and Cox and the following voted against the same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 10th day of March, 1981.
