Councilmember Sorteberg introduced the following resolution and moved for <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #82-3 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING ADMITTANCE IN THE ANOKA COUNTY JOINT LAW ENFORCE- <br />MENT COUNCIL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the by-laws for the Anoka County Joint Law Enforce- <br />ment Council establishes the criteria for communities to have represen- <br />tation on this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey, Anoka-County, State of Minnesota <br />has met thc requirements as set forth in the by-laws of the Anoka County <br />Joint Law Enforcement Council to have direct membership on this Council <br />from the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) It is requested that the governing bodies of the Cities <br />of Anoka, Blaine, Coon Rapids, Columbia Heights, Fridley, Spring Lake <br />Park, and Anoka County Commissioners convene as soon as possible the <br />Anoka county Joint Law Enforcement Council for the purpose of admitting <br />the City of Ramsey to full membership on the subject Council. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Van Wagner and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow- <br />ing voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Reimann <br />and Cox <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the <br />Ramsey City Council this the 12th day of January, 1982. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> ATTEST: , ~') y/ <br /> <br />~Ci[y ~mini~t'rat'or~Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
