Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved <br />for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #82-4 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DESIGNATING FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS AS OFFICIAL DEPOSITORIES OF <br />CITY FUNDS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey must designate certain financial <br />institutions as official depositories of City funds in accordance with <br />M.S. Chapter 427.01 and 427.02. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the City of Ramsey hereby appoints the State Bank <br />of Anoka as the official depository of its checking account and savings <br />account. <br /> <br /> 2) That the City of Ramsey hereby appoints the following <br />financial institutions as depositories of City funds: <br /> <br />a) First National Bank in Anoka <br />b) First National Bank of Minneapolis <br />c) Northwestern Bank of Minneapolis <br />d) Twin City Federal Savings and Loan <br />e) Minnesota Federal Savings and Loan <br />f) Dain Bosworth, Inc. <br /> <br /> 3) That the City of Ramsey will place its investments with <br />the highest bid received from any of the above designated depository in- <br />stitutions. <br /> <br /> 4) That a copy of this resolution be furnished to the City <br />Accountant for the records. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Reimann <br />and Cox <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the <br />Ramsey City Council this the 12th day of January, 1982. <br /> <br />(./' ATTES --Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
