Councilman Cox introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #82-10 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION COMMENDING RAMSEY POLICE OFFICER D. THOMAS ANDERSON <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Police Officer D. Thomas Anderson responded as an aid to <br />Anoka after a call that a woman was choking at Greenhaven on January 3, 1982; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, D. Thomas Anderson through his'technical knowledge and <br />courageous action is credited with saving the woman's life. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) We, the City Council of the City of Ramsey, request a letter of <br />commendation be presented to Police Officer D. Thomas Anderson in recognition <br />of his lifesaving efforts. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember Van Wagner and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cox, Van Wagner, Reimann and Sorteberg <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey <br />City Council this the 26th day of January, 1982. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
