Councilmember Reimann introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #83-2 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REGARDING REPORT BY THE CITY OF RAMSEY ON THE IMPACT OF LANDFILLS <br />IN ITS COMMUNITY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council, City of Ramsey, Anoka County, <br />State of Minnesota directed City Staff to prepare a report on the impact <br />of landfills in its community; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Staff has completed the following <br />said report: "Report by the City of Ramsey on the Impact of Landfills in <br />Its Community". This report was completed on January 4, 1983. Further, <br />Staff has submitted the report for Council review and adoption; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council, City of Ramsey, Anoka County, <br />State of Minnesota has received and reviewed said report. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY~ STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) The Council hereby adopts the the above said report <br />and directs that it be dated January 4, 1983. <br /> <br /> 2) The Council further directs that the following action <br />be taken in regards to this report: <br /> <br />a) That the City request to be placed on the Anoka <br />County Board agenda in order that the City Attorney <br />may give a presentation on said report. <br /> <br />b) That the following distribution be made on the <br />above said report: <br /> <br />1) Anoka County Commissioner Natalie Haas (one <br />abridged copy) <br /> <br />2) Mr. George Steiner, Anoka County Staff member <br />(one unabridged copy) <br /> <br />3) Mr. Jay McLinden, Anoka County Administrator <br />(one unabridged copy) <br /> <br />4) Other County Board members (abridged copies <br />each) <br /> <br />5) Metro Council Waste Management Board and Ex- <br />tended Committee (abridged copies each) <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
