Councilmember Reimann introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #83-4 RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Ramsey City Council adopted on November 23, 1982, a report has been prepared by Mr. Peter R. Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. with reference to the im- provement of the following streets: a) 155th Avenue N.W. between the line of Ramsey Blvd. N.W. (County Road #56) and Variolite Street N.W. b) Variolite STreet N.W. between the line of 155th Avenue and 161st Avenue N.W. and this report was received by the Ramsey City Council on December 21, 1982. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) The COuncil will consider the improvement of such street in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $241,900. 2) A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improve- ment on the 22nd day of February, 1983 in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center at 7:30 P.M. and the clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Schlueter, and Reimann and the following members voted against the same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the llth day of January, 1983. ;~ity ~ministr/ator/Clerk - ~ / Mayor
