Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #83-19 RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS WHEREAS, a resolution of the Ramsey City Council adopted the llth day of January, 1983, fixed a date for a Council hearing on the pro- posed improvement of the following streets: a) 155th Avenue N.W. between the line of Ramsey Blvd. N.W. (County Road #56) and Variolite Street N.W. b) Variolite Street N.W. between the line of 155th Avenue and 161st Avenue N.W. AND WHEREAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice of the hearing was given, and the hearing was held thereon on the 22nd day of February, 1983, at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council resolution adopted llth day of January, 1983. 2) Such improvement as proposed is hereby directed to be assessed out at 20% of the cost involved to the City. 3) Mr. Pete Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. He shall pre- pare specifications for the making of such improvement. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Schlueter and Reimann and the following voted against the same: None and the following member abstained: Councilmember Sorteberg whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 22nd day of March, 1983.
