Councilmember Van <br />adoption: <br /> <br />Wagner introduced the following resolution <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ~84-1 <br /> <br />and moved for its <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DESIGNATING FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS AS OFFICIAL DEPOSITORIES <br />OF CITY FUNDS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey must designate certain financial institutions <br />as official depositories of City funds in accordance with M.S. Chapter 427.01 and 427,0Z. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the City of Ramsey hereby appoints the Northern Bank of Anoka as <br />the official depository of its checking account and savings account. <br /> <br /> Z) That the City of Ramsey hereby appoints the following financial institutions <br />as depositories of City funds: <br /> <br />a) First National Bank of Anoka <br />b) First National Bank of Minneapolis <br />c) Norwest Bank of Minneapolis <br />d) Twin City Federal Savings and Loan <br />e) Minnesota Federal Savings and Loan <br />f) Dain Bosworth, Inc. <br />g) American National Bank <br /> <br /> 3) That the City of Ramsey will place its investments with the highest bid <br />received from any of the above designated depository institutions. <br /> <br /> 4) That a copy of this resolution be furnished to the City Accountant for the <br />records. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Reimann, Sorteberg and Schlueter <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 10th day of January, 1984. <br /> <br />---M~yor <br /> <br /> <br />
