Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 4~84-6 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted a motion authorizing <br />the preparation of plans and specifications and calling for bids for the well and irrigation <br />equipment in Central Park on August Z3, 1984; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey rejected all bids received on <br />the well and irrigation equipment for Central Park on September ZT, 1984, stating that <br />all bids were higher than what the budget allowance was; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey Park and Recreation Commission recommended the City <br />Council explore every alternative regarding the well and irrigation equipment for Central <br />Park as this is very critical for development; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CrFY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby revises the bid specifications <br />to specify a 300 gallon/minute well in order for bids to be within the budget allowance. <br /> <br /> Z) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby declares March Z0, 1984, <br />11:00 a.m., as bid opening date to receive the bids on the well and irrigation equipment <br />for Central Park. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember Schlueter and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Schlueter, Sorteberg and Reimann <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the Z4th day of January, 1984. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
