Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #85-12 RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT (Whispering Pines Plat 3 #85-5) WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve the following streets by sealcoating: 1) 157th Lane N.W. between Ferret Street NaW. and Kangaroo Street N.W. 2) 158th Avenue N.W. between Hedgehog Street N.W. and Kangaroo Street N.W. 3) 158th Lane N.W. between Armstrong Blvd. N.W. (County Road 983) and Kangaroo Street N~W. 4) Eland Street N.W. between 158th Lane NoW. south to its end. 5) Ferret Street N.W. between 157th Lane N.W. and 158th Lane N.W. 6) Hedgehog Street N.W. between 158th Lane N.W. and 157th Lane N.W. 7) Kangaroo Street N.W. between 157th Lane N.W. and 158th Lane N.W. and to assess the benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Chapter 210.01 of the City Code. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the proposed improvement be referred to Mr. Peter R. Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates for study and that he is instructed to report to the City Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Cox, Reimann, Sorteberg and Schlueter Page 1 of Z
