Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #91-01-014 RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO VOLK SEWER & WATER, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #89-15 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on August 14, 1990; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution #90-08-261 awarding the bid to Volk Sewer and Water, Inc. for the construction of Improvement Project #89- 15; and WHEREAS, the Consulting Engineer Peter Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. recommended partial payment to Volk Sewer & Water, Inc. in the amount of $15,190.50. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE RAMSEY CITY COUNCIL, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Volk Sewer & Water, Inc. for the construction of Improvement Project #89-15 in the amount of $15,190.50. 2) That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this partial payment. 3) That the total amount of this partial payment is not included in Resolution #91-01-010 approving payment of the bills for the month of January, 1991. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Cich and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gilbertson Councilmember Beyer Councilmember Cich Councilmember Hardin Councilmember Peterson and the following voted against the same: None. and the following abstained: None. and the following were absent: None.
