ORDINANCE #90-20 <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE MORATORIUM TERM OF CITY <br />ORDINANCES #90-9 AND ~)0-10 <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. PREAMBLE <br /> <br /> Whereas on April 23, 1990 the City adopted Ordinance go0-7 as an emergency ordinance <br />which ordinance has an effective date of April 24, 1990 and a term of 180 days from and after <br />April 23, 1990; and <br /> <br /> Whereas on May 8, 1990 the City Council adopted Ordinance go0-8 as a non-emergency <br />ordinance, which Ordinance g90-8 is the identical text as Ordinance #90-7 and which Ordinance <br />g00-8 was effective June 11, 1990 and shall be effective for a period of 180 days from and after <br />June 11, 1990; and <br /> <br /> Whereas, on May 22, 1990 the City Council adopted Ordinance 4/:90-09 which Ordinance <br />was adopted as an emergency ordinance, amended ordinance g90-7 and is effective for a period of <br />180 day from and after May 22, 1990; and <br /> <br /> Whereas, on May 22, 1990 the City Council adopted ordinance g90-10 which ordinance <br />was adopted as a non-emergency ordinance, has the identical text as Ordinance go0-9 was effective <br />June 26, 1990 and is effective for a period of 180 days from and after June 26, 1990; and <br /> <br />Whereas, the City has retained a planner to study the siting of adult entertainment uses; and <br /> <br />Whereas, the planner's work is substantially completed, however, not totally completed; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> Whereas, in order to properly adopt, by ordinance, the planner's zoning ordinance <br />amendment recommendations, the City Council is required to conduct a public hearing on any <br />proposed zoning code amendments; and <br /> <br /> Whereas, City Staff advises the City Council that an additional sixty (60) days is necessary <br />in order to review and finally adopt amendments to the City's Zoning Code pertains to adult <br />entertainment uses. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE EXTENSION <br /> <br />The effective period of Ordinances go0-09 and gOO- 10 is extended such that said ordinances shall <br />have an effective period through December 21, 1990. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. <br /> <br />EFFECTIVE DATE <br /> <br />This Ordinance becomes effective upon its passage and thirty (30) days after its publication <br />according to law. <br /> <br /> <br />
