ORDINANCE #90-24 <br /> <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 170.03 <br />"SUBDIVISION" CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE. <br /> <br />KNOWN AS THE <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey Ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. <br /> <br />AMENDMENT <br /> <br />Paragraph 1 of Section 170.0310A entitled "PROCEDURE", of the Ramsey City Code is amended <br />to read as follows: <br /> <br />170.0310A PROCEDURE <br /> <br />Prior to the City Council approval of a final plat, the following procedures shall be followed: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />Following approval of the preliminary plat by the Council, the Zoning Officer shall <br />promptly notify the subdivider of said approval and furnish him with a certified copy of the <br />resolution approving preliminary plat. Within one (1) year following approval of the <br />preliminary plat, the subdivider shall file six (6) copies of the final plat with the zoning <br />officer. Thereafter, the Council may extend the period upon written application by the <br />subdivider and subject to all applicable performance conditions and requirements, or the <br />Council may require submission of a new application unless the Council finds that <br />substantial activity and investment has occurred in reasonable reliance on the approved <br />application and the subdivider will suffer substantial financial damage as a consequence of <br />a requirement to submit a new application. The final plat shall incorporate all changes <br />required by the City Council. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. <br /> <br />AMENDMENT <br /> <br />Paragraph 2 of Section 170.0310C entitled entitled "RECORDING", of the Ramsey City Code is <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />170.0310C RECORDING <br /> <br />Following approval of the final plat by the Council, the Zoning Officer shall promptly notify the <br />subdivider of said approval and furnish him with a certified copy of the resolution approving said <br />plat. Within two (2) years following final plat approval, the final plat shall be recorded with the <br />County Recorder or Registrar of Titles of Anoka County. Thereafter, the Council may extend the <br />period upon written application by the subdivider and subject to all applicable performance <br />conditions and requirements, or the Council may require submission of a new application unless <br />the Council finds that substantial activity and investment has occurred in reasonable reliance on the <br />approved application and the subdivider will suffer substantial financial damage as a consequence <br />of a requirement to submit a new application. The subdivider shall furnish the Zoning Officer with <br />a tracing and six (6) copies of the final plat as recorded, showing evidence of the recording on said <br />copies. <br /> <br /> <br />
