PTER OF THE CITY CODE. <br /> <br />AN ORDINAJICE AMENDING CHAPTER 7, SECTIONS 7.61 ENTITLED <br />"CHARIT~,a!BI~ GAMBLING" AND 7.62 "BINGO" OF THE CITY CODE OF <br />RAMSEYi' !M[INNESOTA. <br />The City of~am~ey ordains: <br />SECTION ~. ! AUTHORITY <br />This OrdinanCe i8 adopted pursuant to the authority granted by Minnesota Statute Chapter 349.35. <br />et al. <br />SECTION I AMENDMENT <br /> The f~llo~ving subsection is added to Section 7.61: <br /> I 7.~1.09 Expenditures for Lawful Purposes Within City's Trade <br /> Area. <br /> <br /> i Afiy licensed organization conducting lawful gambling within the City shall be <br /> irequired to expend 75% of its expenditures for lawful purposes on lawful purposes <br /> ~ cop~ ducted or located within the City's ~'ade area. <br /> iF~r purposes of this subsection, the term "trade area" is defined as the Cities of <br /> R~msey, Anoka, Andover, and the Town of Burns in Anoka County; the City of <br /> i E~k River in Sherburne County and ?e City of Dayto,n. in Hennepin County. For <br /> p~rposes of the subsection, the term 'lawful purpose(s) is that definition assigned <br /> i to~it by Minnesota Statute §349.12, Subd. 25 (1991). This subsection shall apply <br /> ~ to,~all licensed organizations conducting lawful gambling within the City, including <br /> I B~go organizations as defined and regulated by Section 7.62 herein. <br /> <br /> The £611oWing subsection of 7.62 is amended to read: [ 7,~62,06 Subd. 5. <br /> i The number of bingo occasions will be as regulated under State Statute. <br /> <br /> <br />
