ORDINANCE #83-7 <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br />Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 110 WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE "HEALTH, SAFETY <br />AND WELFARE" CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ADDING CHAPTER 110.19 TO THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, <br />MINNESOTA, WHICH CHAPTER SHALL BE ENTITLED "BURNING PERMITS" <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. <br /> <br />AMENDMENT <br /> <br />Chapter 110 of the City Code is hereby amended by the addition of <br />the following: <br /> <br />110.191 Open Burniqn Prohibited. It shall be unlaw- <br />ful, a violation of this Ordinance and a misdemeanor <br />for any person to start or allow to burn any open fire <br />on any property within the City of Ramsey without a <br />permit, except for supervised recreational or cooking <br />fires contained within approved fire rings, pits or <br />barbecue grills. <br /> <br />Any person, persons, firm or corporation who shall <br />fail to comply with any order given under the terms <br />of this Ordinance, or who shall in any way violate <br />any of the provisions or requirements of this ordi- <br />nance, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon <br />conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of <br />notof not to exceed $500.00 or by imprisonment for <br />not to exceed 90 days, or both. <br /> <br />110.192 Rules Adopted by Reference. Chapter Eight <br />State of Minnesota Air Pollution Control Rules Cur- <br />rent Edition as amended May 13, 1976 is hereby adopted <br />by reference and is made a part of this Ordinance as <br />if fully set forth herein, three copies of which are <br />on file with the City Clerk in the City of Ramsey. <br />Any violation of the Chapter herein adopted by refer- <br />ence is a violation of this Ordinance. <br /> <br />110.193 Person Designated to Issue Permits. The <br />City Building Official, Deputy Clerk, Receptionist <br />and/or Police Secretary are hereby authoarized to <br />issue permits under this Ordinance and may establish <br />reasonable permit conditions for open burning con- <br />sistent with the rules adopted herein. The signature <br />of either official is necessary for a permit to be <br />issued. <br /> <br /> <br />
