ORDINANCE #86-9 <br /> <br /> CITY OF RANSKY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />ADOPTION OF CHAPTER 10.12 WHICH SHALL BE KNOWN AS THE <br />RANSEY LANDFILL ADVISORY COMMISSION CHAPTER OF THE CITY <br />CODE OF RAMSEY. MXNNNESOTA <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ADDING CHAPTER 10.12 TO THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, <br />MINNESOTA. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Ramsey does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />10.121 ESTABLISHMENT OF COHHISSION: <br /> <br /> A Landfill Advisory Commission for the City of Ramsey is <br />hereby established. The Commission shall be the City's Landfill <br />Advisory Commission and shall hereafter be referred to as "LAC". <br /> <br />10.122 PURPOSE: <br /> <br /> The purpose of the LAC will be to advise and made recom- <br />mendations to the City Council on all issues and ramifications <br />relating to sanitary landfilling in the City of Ramsey. In <br />addition, to studying all land~ill issues and ramifications it <br />deems relevant, the LAC shall study and make recommendations to <br />the City Council on the following: <br /> <br />a® <br /> <br />Future uses of the landfill - expansion/reduction. <br />Closure/termination of existing landfill. <br /> <br />Methane gas issues. <br /> <br />Landfill Trust Fund uses. <br /> <br />Site "P" issues. <br /> <br />Buffer area and industrial/commercial development <br />effect. <br /> <br />Waste Management of Minnesota, Inc. issues. <br />Legislative issues. <br /> <br />Waste Management of Minnesota, Inc./Anoka County <br />issues. <br /> <br />Drainage issues - short and long term. <br />Environmental Monitoring/testing. <br /> <br /> <br />
