ORDINANCE NO. 80-5 CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 190.01 WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE "CURRENT SERVICES" CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE REGULATING STORM DRAINAGE POLICY WITHIN THE CITY OF RAMSEY The City Council of the City of Ramsey does hereby ordain: SECTION 1. AMENDMENT SECTION 190.0180 STORM DRAINAGE PLAN A plan entitled "Comprehensive Storm Drainage Plan for the City of Ramsey, February, 1980", hereinafter "plan" one copy of which is on file in the office of the City Admini- strator, is hereby adopted and incorporated completely in this ordinance as if set out in full. SECTION 190.OllOA STORM SEWER ll~PROVE~NT DISTRICTS Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 444 the Council shall from time to time by separate ordinance establish storm sewer improvement districts to pay for the cost of needed storm sewer improvements. SECTION 190.OllOB REQUIRED IMPROVE~[ENTS If the City determines that a proposed plat may create imme- diate off-site storm water problems unless off-site storm drainage improvements are constructed, the City may refuse to approve the plat matil a storm drainage improvement dis- trict has been established and the appropriate off-site sewer improvements have been funded and constructed. SECTION 190.0110C In lieu of paying a future charge pursuant to Section 190.OllOA of this ordinance, subdividers may, before a final plat is signed, agree to pay to the City the storm drainage improvement charge established by City Council resolution. The charge shall be based upon the number of total gross square feet in the plat. The developer shall be given a credit for oversizing (see page 35 of plan) storm improve- ments in the plat. The charges collected shall be deposited in a special storm drainage improvement fund and shall only be used to pay for storm drainage financing and improvements.
