ORDINANCE NO. 78-1 CITY OF P~.~SEY ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A REVISION AND CODIFICATION OF ORDINANCES TO BE KNOWN AS THE RAMSEY CITY CODE The City Council of the City of Ramsey does hereby ordain: SECTION 1. CODE ADOPTED There is hereby adopted that that certain revision and codi- fication of the ordinances of the City contained in a printed compilation entitled, "Ramsey City Code." A copy of such code shall be marked "Official Copy" and filed as part of the official records of the City in the office of the City Clerk. SECTION 2. REPEALS (a) Appendix A of the Ramsey City Code is a listing of all ordinances of the City up to and including Ordinance No. 77-5 adopted July 25, 1977. Ail ordinances listed in Appendix A are hereby repealed. The rest of Appendix A consists of a cross reference table indicating where in the Ramsey City Code the material from the various repealed ordinances may be fotmd. (b) The rep. eal of any ordinance or portion thereof by addi- tion to this Code or any subsequent amendment, repeal or addi- tion thereto does not affect or impair amy act done, right vested or accrued, any proceeding, suit or prosecution had or commenced in any cause before such repeal takes effect. Every act done, right vested or accrued, proceeding, suit or prose- cution had or commenced, remains in full force and effect to all intents and purposes as if such repeal had not taken place. No offense committed, no liability, penalty or forfeiture, either civil or criminal, incurred prior to repeal of any ordi- nance, or, any part thereof, by this Code or subsequent repeal or addition thereto, is discharged or affected; and the prose- cution and suit of any such offense, liability, penalty or forfeiture may be instituted and proceeded with in all respects as if such prior ordinance or part thereof had not been repealed. SECTION 3. COPIES The clerk shall procide a sufficient quantity of the Ramsey City Code for general distribution to the public and he shall give notice in the official newspaper for at least two suc- cessive weeks that copies are available in his office for ex- amination or purchase.
