ORDINANCE NO. 77-~ <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 76-2, WHICH WAS AN ORDINANCE <br />ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY OF R~4SEY ZONING ORDINANCE <br />NO. 73-5 AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 75-9" <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Ramsey does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. <br /> <br /> Ordinance No. 76-2 entitled "An Ordinance Amending City of Ramsey <br />Zoning Ordinance No. 73-5 and Repealing Ordinance No. 75-9" is amended <br />such that Section 2 Purposes, Paragraph (d) shall read as follo~es: <br /> <br /> (d) Finally, the City Council finds that in order to <br />protect the planning process as described above, this interim <br />ordinance is necessary, and it is adopted pursuant to authority <br />granted in M.S. Chapter 473. The maximum duration of this <br />Ordinance shall be one year and ninety days from and after <br />its effective date. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. ENFORCE~ENT PENALTIES <br /> <br /> Any violation of this Ordinance may be enjoined by the City <br />Council through proper legal channels and any person, firm, partnership <br />or corporation who violates this Ordinance shall be guilty of a <br />misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof be punished by a fine not to <br />exceed Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00) or by imprisonment for not to <br />exceed ninety (90) days, or both for each offense. Each day a~ violation <br />is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. ENFORCEMENT REMEDIES <br /> <br /> In case any building, structure or land is, or is proposed to be <br />erected, constructed, reconstructed, altered, converted, maintained or <br />used in violation of this Ordinance, the City Council, in addition to <br />other remedies, may institute in the name of the City of Ramsey any <br />appropriate action or proceeding to prevent, restrain, correct or abate <br />such building, structure or land, or to prevent, in or about such <br />premises, any act, conduct, business or use constituting a violation. <br /> <br />This ordinance shall become effective upon its adoption and publication <br />according to law. <br /> <br />Adopted this [[ _ day of April, 1977, by the City Council of the <br />City of Ramse~7,--~-~oka County, Minnesota <br /> <br /> c~ ~.lay o r · / <br /> <br /> <br />
