ORDINANCE NO. 74-5 CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE REGULATING AND CONTROLLING THE DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, ENLARGEMENT, ALTERATION, REPAIR, MOVING, REMOVAL, DEMOLITION, QUALITY OF MATERIALS, USE AND OCCUPANCY, LOCATION AND MAINTENANCE OF ALL BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES WITHIN THE CITY OF }~AMSEY, EXCLUDING FARM BUILDINGS OR DWELLINGS, PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF PERMITS AND COLLECTION OF FEES THEREFORE; ESTABLISHING FIRE ZONES; PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT ~ HEREWITH. The City Council of the City of Ramsey does hereby ordain: SECTION 1. MINNESOTA STATE BUILDING CODE The 1973 Minnesota State Building Code, three copies of which are marked "official copies" and are filed for reference and inspection in the office of the City Clerk, is hereby adopted as the building code of the City of Ramsey. Every provision contained, in said code is hereby adopted and made a part of this ordinance as if fully set forth herein, except as hereinafter provided. SECTION 2. ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS The folloWing appendices to the 1973 Minnesota State Building Code are also adopted as part of the building code of the City of Ramsey subject to the indicated amendments and additions: Appendix A Standards Appendix B Fallout Shelter Requirements Appendix D Appendix F Organization and Enforcement Abbreviations and Addresses of Technical Associates SECTION 3. Chapter 3 of the "Uniform Building Code", 1973 Edition, as prescribed by the International Conference of Building Officials, three copies of which are marked "official copies" and ~]re filed for reference and inspection in the of[ice of the City Clerk, is hereby adopted as the "permits and inspections" section of the Building Code o[ the City o[ R.~msey. Every provision contained in said Chapter 3 is hereby adopted and ;nade a part of this ordinance as ii fully set forth herein.
