Norman, City Administrator <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the work session to order at 6:50 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Consensus was to approve the agenda as presented. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS: <br /> Items for Discussion: <br /> 5-Year Capital Improvement Plan <br /> Miscellaneous Items for Discussion <br /> <br />Continued discussion of Street Improvements · Still on Dysprosium & C.R. #116 -signal lights <br /> · Then Sunwood Drive (Sunny Ponds - T.H. #47) <br /> · Then 153/155 Avenue Extension <br /> <br />Question of how CIP is adopted <br /> <br />Mayor asked for staff to contact Jean Hanson of PCA <br /> <br />Staff asked Council to focus on Trail Segments portion of CIP <br /> Mark explained projects individually and sought direction of funding sources <br /> · Discussed park acquisition sources and the possibility of bonding - to spread payments over <br /> time. <br /> · Council discussed bond issue for park construction. <br /> · Staff needs to determine ifTIF money can be used for trail construction. <br /> · Mayor asked for a list of alternative financing for (2) major parks - #5 & Central expansion - <br /> and also tie in major trail link financing. <br /> <br />City Council Work Session/September 28, 1998 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
