Weekly UPDATE <br />Administrator's Report <br />Council Update <br />2024 Parks and Recreation Events <br />June 14, 2024 <br />Ramsey Parks and Recreation is in full swing with many <br />exciting sumiiici piuwams! We kicked off the month with <br />Intro to Pickleball on June 1, where players of all levels <br />learned the ropes. On June 4, Summer Community Art <br />classes with the Rumriver Art Center began, sparking <br />creativity with hand -built clay mug creations. <br />The Movies in the Park on June 8 kicked off summer <br />events with tasty food truck delights and The Super Mario <br />Bros. Movie. Sports Discovery classes launched on June 11, <br />allowing kids to explore sports and sportsmanship. On June <br />13, we had a busy day with the grand reopening of the Rivers <br />Bend Playground, Art in the Park and our Summer Concert <br />Series at the Draw, featuring the incredible Roadhouse Blue <br />Band and root beer floats. <br />Thanks to all who attended these events! Voting and contact <br />information for each candidate is available on the City's <br />website at www.cityoframsey.com/Elections. <br />2 <br />* * * <br />ELECTIGN <br />24 <br />Rain Barrel/Compost Bin Sale <br />The 100% recycled plastic rain barrels and compost bins <br />are still available at the Recycling Association of Minnesota <br />website, www.recycleminnesota.org/compost-bins-rain: <br />barrels. Pick-up will be by <br />appointment only. <br />The rain barrels cost $90, <br />have a 45-gallon capacity <br />and measure 24" D x 24" <br />W x 32" H.
