Councilmember Beyer introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #92-01-011 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING <br />INC.'S APPLICATION FOR A <br />SALOON AND FOOD. <br /> <br />ANOKA AREA ICE ARENA ASSOCIATION, <br />PREMISE PERMIT FOR GAMBLING AT J.R.'S <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey is in receipt of a Minnesota Lawful Gambling Premises <br />Permit application from the Anoka Area ][ce Arena Association, Inc.; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a copy of this application was received by the City of Ramsey on January.7, <br />1992; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Anoka Area Ice Arena Association, Inc. has paid the $100.00 <br />investigation fee required of new applicants; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant desires to operate lawful bingo and other charitable gambling <br />pursuant to State Law; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant will conduct these activities at 6141 Highway #10 N.W. in <br />Ramsey; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant currently operates similar activities successfully within <br />neighboring Anoka. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby approves the premise permit <br />application of the Anoka Area Ice Arena Association, Inc. for gambling at J.R.'s Saloon <br />and Food. <br /> <br />2) That any requisite investigative period is hereby waived. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Cich and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Cich <br />Councilmember Peterson <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Hardin <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
