Councilmember Hardin introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #92-01-016 RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT FOR LANDWEHR HEAVY MOVING, INC. (IMPROVEMENT PROJECT gOl-13) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on October 22, 1991; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted a resolution awarding the bid to Landwehr Heaving Moving, Inc. for the construction of Improvement Project g91-13; and WHEREAS, the Consulting Engineer, Pete Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc., recommended partial payment to Landwehr Heavy Moving, Inc. in the amount of $284,957.50. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Landwehr Heavy Moving, Inc. for the construction of Improvement Project g91'-13 in the amount of $284,957.50. 2) That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor and City Administrator to sign the release form for this partial payment. 3) That the total amount of this partial payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of January, 1992. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Beyer and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gilbertson Councilmember Hardin Councilmember Beyer Councilmember Peterson Councilmember Zimmerman and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None
