Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #92-01-020 RESOLUTION APPOINTING LEGAL FIRMS WHEREAS, during 1991, the City of Ramsey requested proposals from area law firms desirous of offering legal services to the City of Ramsey; and WHEREAS, by the deadline of December 17, 1991, the City of Ramsey received five such proposals; and WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has critically evaluated each of these five proposals; and WHEREAS, it is hereby determined that it is in the best interest of the City of Ramsey to contract for legal services by entering into contractual agreements with the f'm-n of Randall, Delta & Goodrich for general legal and prosecution services and with the f'm-n of Holmes & Graven for Bond Counsel, Tax Increment Financing and related legal services. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Administrator is hereby authorized to enter into the contracts proposed by the firms of Randall, Dehn & Goodrich and Holmes & Graven as contained herein and made a part hereto for legal services for 1992, 1993 and 1994. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Hardin and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gilbertson Councilmember Peterson Councilmember Hardin Councilmember Zimmerman and the following voted against the same: Councilmember Beyer and the following abstained: None and the following were absent: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Rams~ey~ity_ Co~uncil this the 28th day of January, 1992. ~ ~(irfiin'i~trator
