Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #92-01-020 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING LEGAL FIRMS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during 1991, the City of Ramsey requested proposals from area law firms <br />desirous of offering legal services to the City of Ramsey; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by the deadline of December 17, 1991, the City of Ramsey received five such <br />proposals; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has critically evaluated each of these five proposals; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is hereby determined that it is in the best interest of the City of Ramsey to <br />contract for legal services by entering into contractual agreements with the f'm-n of Randall, Delta & <br />Goodrich for general legal and prosecution services and with the f'm-n of Holmes & Graven for Bond <br />Counsel, Tax Increment Financing and related legal services. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Administrator is hereby authorized to enter into the contracts proposed by the firms <br />of Randall, Dehn & Goodrich and Holmes & Graven as contained herein and made a part hereto <br />for legal services for 1992, 1993 and 1994. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Hardin <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Peterson <br />Councilmember Hardin <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />Councilmember Beyer <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Rams~ey~ity_ Co~uncil this the <br /> 28th day of January, 1992. <br /> <br />~ ~(irfiin'i~trator <br /> <br /> <br />
