I I I I I I I Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION ~93-02-015 RESOLUTiIDN CHANGING THE NAME OF THE BUDGET COMMITTEE TO THE FINANCE COMMITTEE WHEREAS, since 1991, the Budget Committee has held regular meetings throughout the year; and WI~EREAS, during these meetings the Committee reviews and makes recommendations to Council tvjgarding the City's current financial standing, requests for capital outlay, requests for funds not stlegifi~ally included in the current year budget, issues as related to bonding and all other financial matters that may arise; and WHEREAS, at the January 26, 1993 Budget Committee meeting, due to the expanded role of the Cbm~ttee, Staff recommended changing the name to the Finance Committee as this would more ~curately reflect the Committee's role; and wHEREAS, the Budget Committee concurred with this recommendation. NOW TH~EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) Thatthe Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes a change in name from the Council's Budget Committee to the Council's Finance Committee.
