Councilmemb~, Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ~)3-02-016 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE QUAD CITIES CABLE <br />COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION AS THE PRODUCER OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL MEETINGS AND OTHER DESIGNATED CITY MEETINGS <br /> wHEREAS, the City of Ramsey desires that its citizens who subscribe to cable <br />television in the City receive access to City Council meetings and other City meetings; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City is a member of the Quad Cities Cable Communication <br />Commission; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Commission is capable of providing the resources, equipment and <br />personnel for Ihe 0ablecasfing of the above mentioned City meetings; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City is desirous of designating the Commission as the producer of such <br />City meetings. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSE~Y, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That Quad Cities Cable Communications Commission is hereby designated as the producer <br />of the City Council meetings and other designated City meetings. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That ~the Commission, as producer, is the owner of all such tapes produced in the <br />produCtion of such City meetings. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That such tapes shall not be deemed, for any purpose whatsoever, to be the official record <br />of such Council meetings, which official record shall be the duly prepared, adopted, and <br />record~l minutes of such meetings. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />That the Commission, as producer, shall assume responsibility for production, taping, <br />cablecasting, replay, storage, dubbing, and disposal of any and all tapes of such meetings. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Hardin and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof.' <br /> <br />MayorGilbertson <br />Councilmember Peter,an <br />Couneilm~mber Hardin <br />Couneilmember Beyer <br />Councflmomber Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
