Couneilmember Hardin introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #94-01-011 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT FOR S.J. LOUIS <br />CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #92-15 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on June 9, <br />1992; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution awarding the <br />bid to S.J. Louis Construction, Inc. for the construction of Improvement Project g92-15; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Consulting Engineer, Peter Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson <br />Associates, Inc., recommended final payment to S.J. Louis Construction, Inc. in the amount of <br />$857.50; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the retainage for the project has been deposited in an escrow account with <br />the Zapp Bank; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, final completion of the project relinquishes the need for retainage to remain <br />encumbered. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes final payment to S.J. Louis Construction, Inc. for <br />the construction of Improvement Project ~92-15 in the amount of $857.50. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release <br />form for this final payment. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the total amount of this final payment is not included in the resolution approving <br />payment of the bills for the month of January 1994. <br /> <br />4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. <br /> <br />5) <br /> <br />That a copy of this resolution serve as notice to the Zapp Bank that any escrow encumbered <br />as a result of this project may now be released to S.J. Louis Construction, Inc. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Beyer and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofi <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Hardin <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Peterson <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
