Councilmember Hardin introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # 94-02-016 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CALLING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON THE MODIFICATION <br />OF THE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 1 <br />AND MODIFICATION OF THE TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN FOR <br />TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT NO.2 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council, by prior action, has established Development District No. <br />1 (Development District) pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.124 through 469.134 and <br />has established several tax increment financing (TIF) districts within Development District No. 1 <br />pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.174 through 469.179; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council believes it is necessary to modify the Development <br />Program for the Development District and modify the TIF Plan for TIF District No. 2 within the <br />Development District. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to cause to be prepared a <br />modified Development Program for Development District No. 1 and a modified TIF Plan <br />for TIF District No. 2 and to file a copy of all documents in City Hall. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Administrator is authorized and directed to prepare a notice for publication in <br />the official newspaper setting a public hearing before the City Council on the 8th day of <br />March, 1994, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers on the modified Program and TIF <br />Plan. The notice shall be published in the newspaper at least 10 but not more than 30 days <br />prior to the public heating. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the City Administrator is authorized and directed to take all other actions necessary to <br />bring the Modified Development Program and TIF Plan before the City Council at the time <br />of the public hearing. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Zimmerman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Hardin <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Couneilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Peterson <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
