Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION g95.01-024 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING BUDGET AMENDMENT ALLOCATING $1,000 <br />FROM THE COUNCIL CONTINGENCY TO POLICE OVERTIME FOR <br />SNOWMOBILE ENFORCEMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the City Council meeting on January 24, 1995, the issue of snowmobile <br />activities was discussed; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it was determined that overtime included in the 1995 Adopted General Fund <br />Budget did not include sufficient monies for additional snowmobile activity enforcement; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, included in the 1995 Adopted General Fund Budget is the Council <br />Contingency Fund that can be allocated by Council action; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it has been determined that additional time is necessary for the Police <br />Department to effectively enforce snowmobile activities. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMS~tY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA,that the Ramsey City <br />Council hereby authorizes a budget amendment allocating $1,000 from the Council Contingency <br />Fund to Police overtime for snowmobile enforcement efforts. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Zimmerman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereoff <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin <br />Councilmember Peterson <br />Couneilmember Beahen <br />Couneilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Couneilmember Beyer <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 24th day of January, 1995. <br /> <br /> <br />
